Payment and escrow

When Escrow.com is used, the buyer funds the transaction through the escrow service, the domain is transferred in accordance with the agreed transaction instructions, and funds are released pursuant to the escrow provider's applicable procedures and terms. Certain transactions may permit other approved arrangements, including wire transfer, financing or another specifically agreed payment method. Available options are confirmed before a transaction is finalized.

Availability and event pricing

A domain remains available until the applicable transaction is accepted and completed. Package pricing and quantity discounts may be recalculated if domains are added, removed, sold to another buyer, or otherwise become unavailable before completion.

Transfer timing and responsibilities

Transfer timing depends on registrar procedures, payment or escrow clearance, applicable transfer locks and timely buyer cooperation. Buyer and seller are responsible for providing accurate information and completing steps required by the applicable registrar or transaction service.

Transaction records

Buyer and seller correspondence submitted through the transaction portal may be retained with timestamps, IP address and basic browser/device information for security and recordkeeping. Completed transactions may be retained as historical marketplace or comparable-sale records.
